Trail Conditions 2-17-10
I just got back from riding the trails this afternoon. With the weather slowly warming up, I thought I'd give a short trail report.
First of all, all the trails were clear of fallen trees, and limbs. And most if not all the snow is melted, I only came across 3 small patches. Most trails running north and south on top of the "ridges" are dry enough not to leave any ruts or tread marks. Alot of the low lying areas are still wet, and I found to be extremely slick, and most of the hills are still very much slick. I had to walk a bike on a few hills to avoid leaving ruts everywhere. On a last note, leaves are still everywhere and still wet, I found it hard to turn w/o my tires sliding out. I only have 2.1" tires, and had them at a higher pressure than normal, which is most of my problem today.
Overall everything is ridable but still muddy(which makes it any more fun to ride).

Re: Trail Conditions 2-17-10
thanks for the update to the board coolpic, within the next couple or so weeks we'll start getting the work days planned for the park. we've got clearance to begin building TTF's on the black trails and if you noticed when you were there we've started moving dirt around for the jump area. it going to be an exciting spring and summer. Please if anyone see's a problem at the park such as trees damage, signs down, etc. please let us know or gimme a call at 620-249-7093 so the problem can be taken care of. RL
